A Female-Founded, Female-Led Program for Lasting Recovery
Our Story
Every treatment center has a story—but Sol Women’s Treatment began with a vision that was both deeply personal and powerfully professional. In 2024, Tania Acevedo, MA, LPCC, and her husband opened Sol with one mission: to create a safe, all-female environment where women could heal from substance use, trauma, and mental health struggles without stigma or judgment.
Tania is not only the founder but also the Clinical Director and the “brainchild” behind the program. With more than 13 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, she has worked as a therapist, case manager, and program leader across both mental health and substance use treatment. Over the years, she saw firsthand how women often felt unseen in mixed-gender programs, or how trauma survivors found it difficult to fully engage in treatment without the safety of an all-female space.
In July 2024, Sol Women’s Treatment officially opened its doors in historic Downtown Riverside, California. What started as a vision to create a sanctuary for women has quickly become a vibrant community where lives are being rebuilt every day.
Today, Sol remains family-owned and operated, a rarity in an industry dominated by corporate treatment chains. Every client who enters our doors becomes part of something personal: a program led by women, designed for women, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible when women are supported as whole people.
Our Mission and Vision
At Sol, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help women return to their best selves. We believe that recovery is not only about abstaining from substances or managing symptoms—it’s about rebuilding identity, rediscovering confidence, and reclaiming joy.
Our vision is to be the Inland Empire’s leading women’s-only treatment center, recognized for:
Clinical excellence in dual diagnosis care.
Trauma-informed, holistic approaches.
A safe, welcoming community where every woman feels valued.
When women heal, families heal. And when families heal, communities grow stronger. That is the heart of Sol Women’s Treatment.
Our Treatment Center
Sol Women’s Treatment is proud to offer a 3,800 square foot freestanding treatment center located in historic Downtown Riverside. Unlike programs that rent office space or share buildings, our center is a standalone treatment center, designed to give women privacy and security.

Private and confidential treatment spaces built for intensive therapy, psychiatry, and life skills work.
Therapy rooms designed for individual, group, and holistic work.

Our Supportive Housing
For women who need stability outside treatment hours, Sol offers all-female supportive housing located just 10 minutes from the center.
Three-story home with 5 bedrooms and 10 beds.
Pool for recreation and wellness.
Two experienced female house managers who provide structure, accountability, and safety.
