Sol's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the most intensive level of outpatient care we offer for women in Riverside — about 6 hours of structured treatment a day, 5 days a week, in an all-female setting. It's built for women who need significant daily support for substance use and mental health, but not 24-hour supervision. You spend the day in therapy and return home or to supportive housing each evening. Many women come to us after detox or residential care; others start here when day-to-day life has become hard to hold together. Whenever you're ready, call (951) 972-5085 or verify your insurance.
PHP is the highest level of outpatient care available. Women spend most of the day in treatment — typically 6 hours a day, 5 days a week — in evidence-based therapy, group work, and holistic practices, then return home or to supportive housing each evening.
Women often experience addiction and mental health conditions at the same time. Untreated trauma, anxiety, or depression can fuel substance use, and substance use can deepen mental health symptoms. Our PHP addresses both from the start — in a space built around the pressures and experiences women actually carry.
Our integrated model treats substance use and co-occurring disorders together rather than in isolation — an approach designed to support relapse prevention and steadier, longer-term recovery.
Structure is a cornerstone of PHP. Each day follows a consistent rhythm that balances therapy, reflection, and wellness.
This rhythm helps women re-establish healthy routines and consistent accountability while gradually regaining independence.
PHP is a good fit for women who need significant support but not 24-hour supervision. It works as both a step down from residential care and a step up from traditional outpatient.
Many women describe PHP as the point where things began to steady — the stability to build a strong foundation for ongoing recovery.
"In PHP, women experience both structure and compassion. By addressing substance use and mental health together, we help create the stability needed to build a foundation for lasting recovery."
Recovery is a continuum, not a single step. PHP is often the beginning. As stability grows, many women step down to a lighter level — here's how they compare.
The decision to enter treatment can feel like a lot. Our admissions team keeps the process simple and supportive.
